WTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are looking for an Account Executive to generate revenue through the sale of WTTW and WFMT content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Generate revenue through identifying and securing radio, tv, digital, and print media sales with WFMT & WTTW.

·Establish deep relationships with client organizations as well as advertising agencies.

·Develop multiplatform strategic sales strategies, plans, and proposals.

·Execute CRM entry of all client activity in Tessitura.

·Work closely with continuity manager and traffic department for fulfillment of media contracts.

·Represent WFMT and WTTW with the highest integrity, as one of Chicago’s leading cultural institutions.

·Collaborate closely with Director of Sales and cross departmentally.

·Assist Director of Sales as needed.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

·Passion for public media, the arts, and classical music.

·Broad knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media sales.

·Confident negotiator and exceptional communicator.

·Creativity in drafting sales/client packages.

·Ability to effectively multi-task.

·High level of organization.

·Proficiency of Microsoft Office.

EXPERIENCE:

·5 years media experience required.

·CRM experience preferred, with Tessitura a plus.

·Sales account management experience.

·New business development experience.

·Financial reporting experience a plus.

·Non-profit knowledge and experience a plus.

EDUCATION: College degree preferred.
